It's the Toyota GT86 which romps home with our 'Best Coupe' award, and for one very good reason: it's a car which helps you remember why you fell in love with cars in the first place.
It's not the most powerful coupe in the world, with just 197bhp on tap, and nor is it the fastest. But to criticise the GT86 for its lack of power is to completely miss the point of the car. The essence of the GT86 is that less is more.
You get skinny tyres taken straight from a Prius which means you get less grip than in almost any other coupe. But because of the GT86's lack of grip, it's a much more involving car to drive. The steering is pin-sharp and, thanks to the car's low weight, the GT86 is fantastically agile too.
CarSite Head of Online Advertising Christian Long presents the award to Toyota's Scott Brownlee
We wouldn't be overstating things if we said that the GT86 is one of the best-driving mass-market cars of the past ten years, and for this reason alone it marks itself out as our coupe winner.
In fact, we love the GT86 so much, we've also nominated it for our overall 'Car of the Year' award.
