Audi have announced a series of upgrades to the A6 Saloon and Avant models.
A new SE Executive trim level replaces the entry-level SE specification, while styling enhancements include a new front apron with pronounced air inlets, sculpted side sills, and restyled rear bumper with a new diffuser. Meanwhile, the S Line and range-topping Black Edition models both gain a new radiator grille with matt black surround and chrome slats.
Elsewhere in the Audi line-up, the latest A6 and A7 Sportback models – which go on sale next month alongside their S and RS counterparts – will feature the latest Audi connectivity and entertainment options as part of an updated interior. The Audi smartphone interface is now available for both models in combination with the optional Technology Pack, bringing Apple Car Play and Android Auto to the car. If an iOS or Android smartphone is connected to the USB port, the handset‘s contents such as navigation, phone, music and selected third party apps are offered in a separate menu and can be accessed conveniently by MMI or voice control. The Audi phone box feature has been developed further, now offering inductive charging for compatible headsets as well as connecting smartphones to the on board antenna by near-field coupling.
All A6, A7 Sportback, S6 and S7 Sportback and A6 allroad models will now also have LED interior lighting, front seat heating, and electric lumbar adjustment.
