The fifth anniversary of the independently owned Aston Martin will see the luxury car manufacturer unveiling its production model of the V12 Zagato.
The Geneva Motor Show, now in its 82nd year, has traditionally been a launching ground for a number of models. Aston Martin is showcasing the V12 Zagato along with seven other models at the show, which is being held from the 8th to the 18th of March.
The vehicles that will make their European debut at the international show include the V8 Vantage S and recently revised V8 Vantage, a DBS Coupe, V12 Vantage and Rapide. Two vehicles from the manufacturer's bespoke facility, "Q" by Aston Martin, will also be available for view.
Vantage Range
The new V12 Zagato boasts superior style and technological features that have been gleaned from Aston Martin's racing division.
The vehicle, of which only 150 units will be available, was created in a partnership with Aston Martin's Director of Design, Marek Reichman and the team at Gaydon studios. The V12 Zagato will benefit from a pristine finish and carbon-fibre components.
Personalised cars
"Q" by Aston Martin will give car owners the chance to design the car of their dreams. Drivers are able to make specifications for the interior and exterior of their vehicles, as well as commissioning the design of a bespoke car.
The personalised modelling service is designed to set the manufacturer apart from the competition.
Aston Martin explores new market
Aston Martin will be increasing its presence in China, by opening 13 more showrooms in the People's Republic in 2012.
The manufacturer first penetrated the Chinese market three years ago, with the largest ever Aston Martin dealership in Shanghai's Pudong district.
The move is set to increase sales in the Asian region, rising from 190 in 2011 to approximately 700 in 2012.
