Aston Martin has celebrated its 100-year anniversary by lifting one of its £190k Vanquishes on to the top of the seven-star Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai.

The helipad atop the Burj Al Arab is 1000ft above sea level, and this marks the first time a car has been placed there.

The impressive stunt is one of a series of events which Aston is using to commemorate its 100th birthday; the firm has also announced the launch of 100 special centenary versions of each of is models.
