Stuck for a last minute Christmas present for the petrolhead in your life?

Well, you could do worse than book a driving experience, something Brits are doing in increasing numbers.

Leading provider TrackDays.co.uk - who offer experiences including driving supercars, drifting, and off-roading – say bookings have more than doubled in the past twelve months as people flock to get their thrills behind the wheel.  The overall 110% increase in bookings this year isn’t just for grown-ups either, with the company reporting that junior driving experiences increased by more than half in 2019 too.

TrackDays.co.uk boss Dan Jones said: “The popularity of drifting, the art of controlling a car slide, has actually been one of our fastest growing driving experiences recently, while it is also no surprise that more-and-more motorists are enjoying an off-road experience to escape the daily grind, traffic jams and aggressive drivers.”
