PROS: The Seat Exeo Sport Tech showcases a robust build quality and a comfortable cabin. The Sport trim adds loads of equipment.
CONS: The Sport trim costs a lot more than the S trim and is only worth it if you need all the extra gadgets and the firmer suspension.
The Seat Exeo Sport Tech 2.0 TDI CR Multitronic 4dr’s diesel engine offers an adequate performance and is very fuel efficient.
Providing you opt for a sports suspension, the Seat Exeo Sport Tech 2.0 TDI CR Multitronic 4dr handles itself pretty well around corners. The comfort suspension package isn’t very comfortable at all. Occupants tend to bounce around a lot and the vehicle allows for too much body roll. On the plus side, the fully adjustable seats are good for driver comfort.
Producing 236 lb-ft torque power at 1750-2500 rpm and 141 bhp at 4200 rpm, the Seat Exeo Sport Tech 2.0 TDI CR Multitronic can reach 0-62 mph in 9.3 seconds, which isn’t too bad considering its size, and has a top speed of 129 mph.
The Sport Tech is a high trim level and comes with loads of equipment.
The interface system makes the vehicle’s stereo easy to use on the go, it also offers a modern feel.
The Seat Exeo Sport Tech comes with power steering, central locking, alloy wheels, electric front windows, electric door mirrors and rear parking sensors as standard. Other equipment includes cruise control, leather seats, MP3 connectivity, a CD player, Bluetooth and a sat nav. It offers climate control instead of air con and the metallic paint finish can be purchased as optional extra.
The Seat comes with stability control, an alarm and immobiliser as standard and driver, passenger and front side airbags as standard too.
The space is practical, with 460 litres of space in the boot and five occupants easily fitting in the saloon, although the rear seats are a little tight on head and leg room.
The Sport Tech 2.0 TDI CR Multitronic 4dr costs £25,140 and for this you will get a practical saloon with plenty of space available for passengers and in the boot and an engine that gives a good performance and if very efficient.
The combined average is 51.4 mpg and the CO2 emissions are 146 g/km. Low running costs are a great attraction, but especially when combined with the good level of kit that the Sport Tech provides.
