Rolls-Royce has used the Geneva Motor Show to unveil a new, facelifted version of its Ghost, which features a range of styling tweaks and mechanical changes.

You'd be hard-pushed to tell the difference between the new Ghost 'Series II' and its predecessor, but as the late David Frost would say: "the clues are there." Clues such as the new reshaped LED headlights, slightly tweaked bumpers, new paint colours and new wheels.

Inside, there are redesigned seats and a range of new wood veneers, while the electric rear seats now feature a 'lounge' setting which angles the rear passengers towards one another.

Rolls has also fiddled with the Ghost's front and rear suspension and added the clever new satellite-guided eight-speed automatic gearbox first seen in the Wraith, which uses map data to analyse the road ahead and choose the appropriate gear.

Expect a slight increase over the current car's £170,250 starting price.
