Peugeot has confirmed it will reveal a new concept car at this year's Beijing Motor Show.

Although details on the new concept are scarce, Peugeot has claimed that the car is "from the same lineage as the Onyx Concept Car", which was revealed at the Paris Motor Show in 2012, and "is a teaser of the Brand's future design."

Peugeot has also released a teaser image of the new car which appears to show that the new model will be a sleek four-door coupe. With a length of 4.73m and a height of 1.31m, Peugeot claims that the car will accommodate four passengers and their luggage.

The company has yet to confirm what will power the concept; however, it seems likely that the car, like the Onyx, will feature some sort of hybrid electric powertrain.

The Beijing Motor Show will run from 20 to 29 April.
