CarSite Verdict:  4/5
The Infiniti M is an attractive saloon which boasts impressive levels of performance and speed. The model comes as standard with an excellent range of equipment and provides a spacious interior. It is not too efficient to run in terms of fuel and the road tax and insurance for this vehicle could be less costly.

PROS:  This saloon vehicle ideally seats five occupants, and has four doors, which is ideal for a family choice of car. The fuel efficiency of this car is good at 37.7mpg, so consumers can expect to see savings in refuelling. Leather seating, Bluetooth, rear-parking sensors, satellite navigation and MP3 connectivity is all included.

CONS:  The car's CO2 emissions are high so road tax is expensive in band J. The car is also categorised into insurance group 46. Therefore, the maintenance is quite demanding in comparison to other saloon cars.

Behind the Wheel

This model has a top speed of 155mph, which is quite quick for a typical saloon. It is also quite fast at travelling from 0mph to 62mph as the speed can be completed in a hasty 6.9 seconds.

The handling of the vehicle is smooth, sharp and responsive making for a fun driving experience. The ride is refined and quiet, with minimal noise entering the cabin, and as such the Infiniti M is an excellent motorway cruiser.

The cars power output is 235bhp and the torque is an impressive 405lb-ft.

Looks & Equipment

The M is an attractive saloon, with smooth, sleek lines. This is matched by a neat, well-crafted interior.

The car's equipment is impressive. It includes Bluetooth, rear parking sensors, cruise control, MP3 connectivity, satellite navigation, leather seating, climate control, alloy wheels, electric door mirrors and electric front windows.

Metallic paint costs an additional £679.

Practicality, Safety & Reliability

The practical side of the car is quite generous, which is quite typical for a saloon vehicle. When the rear seats are upright there is 450 litres of boot space for belongings or storage, which is particularly spacious for a saloon vehicle of this build.

The car's safety has been well thought through. This model comes already fitted with a driver airbag, passenger airbag as well as airbags in the front side of the vehicle.

In terms of security, the car is fitted with central locking and an alarm.

This car is covered under warranty for three years, and up to 60,000 miles. This time frame is standard and often the minimum a company will offer.

Value for Money

The Infiniti M30d S Premium 4dr can be bought for £47,700. That is a high price to pay for a saloon vehicle, as other cars on the market of this type are a lot cheaper. However, this car does come fitted out with a lot of kit.

It has a CO2 emissions level of 199g/km and average fuel economy of 37.7mpg. Neither of these figures are too inspiring, but considering the high level of performance on offer, they could certainly be worse.
