A new special edition version of the Volkswagen Amarok has been released.

Called the Amarok Aventura, the special edition model stands out with its 20-inch Talca alloy wheels, body coloured sports bar, Aventura badging, and chrome-plated side bars with step and LED spot lighting. However, it retains the practicality and ruggedness synonymous with the Amarok, and also features new under-body cladding, power folding mirrors, and a protective coating for the load compartment.

Special matt finishes are available on the Amarok Aventura at a reduced price. Ravenna Blue or Indium Grey matt paint can be chosen for £2,335+VAT, a saving of nearly a quarter over the usual cost. Also available are Aventura-specific Mountain top roll covers, finished in black or silver, for an extra £1387.50+VAT.

Inside are Nappa leather ErgoComfort seats with 14-way adjustment, multi-function steering wheel with leather-wrapping, and paddle shifts as standard. The Volkswagen Discover Media Navigation is included as standard, as is a Lights and Vision package which includes automatic headlights with separate daytime running lights, Coming Home feature, and windscreen wiper intermittent control with rain sensor, along with front fog lights with cornering function.
Under the bonnet is a 3.0-litre TDI V6 with overboost function, permanent 4MOTION all-wheel drive, and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

The Amarok Aventura is available to order now at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Van Centres, priced at £39,960 on-the-road, excluding VAT.
