Groupe PSA has announced the closure of all of its European production sites in response to the Coronavirus crisis, including the Vauxhall plants at Ellesmere Port and Luton.

Ellesmere Port will be shutdown from Wednesday, with Luton to follow on Friday, and will remain closed until at least March 27.
In addition to the UK sites, the closures will also affect Groupe PSA factories in France, Spain, Germany, Poland, Portugal, and Slovakia, as a result of both the supply chain disruptions and sudden slowing of demand brought about by COVID-19.
