Vauxhall retailers have begun taking orders for the all-new Mokka and all-electric Mokka-e.

Prices start from £20,735 from the entry-level Vauxhall Mokka SE, while prices for the Mokka-e start from £30,840 for SE Nav Premium models after the Government Plug-in Car Grant has been applied.

Both feature Vauxhall’s new Vizor front end with a single module that contains the new Griffin logo and LED headlights, which is to become a key feature of future Vauxhall models.  Both the Mokka and Mokka-e have up to 350-litres of boot space with the rear seats in place.   Both have Vauxhall’s new Pure Panel display, a single panel which features two wide screens tilted to towards the driver for ease of use and access to infotainment features.  Three driving modes - Normal, Eco and Sport – are available.

The Vauxhall Mokka-e has a 50kWh lithium-ion battery and a 100kW electric motor, and comes as standard with an 11kW on-board charger.  Preliminary tests found the Mokka-e to be capable of up to 201 miles from a single charge.  An 80% charge takes as little as half-an-hour, while the lithium-ion battery has an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty.

Two petrol and one diesel engine are offered at launch, six standard trim levels and a limited edition Launch Edition model.  SE models feature 16-inch alloy wheels, seven-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED lights, and Automatic Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Alert as standard.

SRi models add 18-inch wheels, a black roof and dark tinted rear windows, a black Griffin logo across the Vizor panel, Adaptive Cruise Control and heated front seats. SRi Nav Premium trim adds satellite navigation, a 10-inch touchscreen and 12-inch driver instrument cluster, front and rear parking sensors, and a 180-degree camera.  Elite Nav models come with 17-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, a 180-degree camera, Vauxhall Connect, Adaptive Cruise Control, satellite navigation, and heated front seats and steering wheel. Elite Nav Premium adds 10-inch touchscreen and a 12-inch drive instrument cluster, alongside front parking sensors. Range-topping Ultimate Nav models come with Keyless entry & start, wireless mobile phone charging, 18-inch alloy wheels, 10-inch touchscreen, 12-inch driver instrument cluster, and LED Matrix headlamps. Limited-edition Launch Edition models come with the Park & Go pack with advanced park assist and a full leather interior.
