A limited-time offer from Vauxhall has been announced with the purpose of tempting customers to switch to electric power.

Until 11 January 2021, Vauxhall Corsa-e buyers will benefit from a special dual fuel tariff from British Gas which Vauxhall will top up to the equivalent cost of 30,000 miles of motoring over a three-period.  In contrast, running a 1.2-litre petrol Corsa for 30,000 miles would cost £2,900 at current petrol prices.

The special offer applies to Personal Contract Hire purchases, which are available from £330 per month with a £1,980 initial rental fee, and also includes a free Home Charging Unit and a free six-month subscription to the Polar public charging network.

Powered by a 50kWh lithium-ion battery, the Corsa-e has a range of just over 200 miles on a single charge, and with 100kW rapid charging technology can be recharged to 80 per cent charge in just half-an-hour.  It comes with an eight-year warranty on the 50kWh battery, and eight years’ roadside assistance.

Full terms and conditions are available at Vauxhall retailers.
