Vauxhall have confirmed more specification details for the upcoming Corsa GSi.
It will be powered by a 148bhp 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine, giving the Corsa GSi a 0-62mph time of 8.9 seconds and a top speed of 128mph. Built on the Corsa VXR chassis, the GSi will feature a short-ratio six-speed transmission. Fuel economy of 47.1mpg is achievable, as is CO2 emissions of 139g/km. The option of lightweight alloy wheels is designed to enhance performance, fitted with 215/40 x 18 tyres.
Externally, the Corsa GSi boasts large front air intakes, sculpted bonnet, rear spoiler, chrome tailpipe, and red-painted front brake callipers, while inside are optional leather Recaro seats, leather sports steering wheel, aluminium pedals, and Vauxhall IntelliLink infotainment system.
Vauxhall will begin taking orders from July, with showroom examples arriving at retailers in autumn.
