Kia are promising two new all-electric models for 2020.
A new and updated e-Niro is on the way in the New Year, along with the all-new Kia Soul EV. Both will have a range of at least 280 miles, and zero tailpipe emissions.
The UK allocation of e-Niro models sold out within weeks of going on sale earlier this year, so the new and updated e-Niro already has a 3,000-strong customer waiting list. With the Government Plug-In Car grant, the e-Niro is priced at £34,495, and comes with LED headlights, Battery Heating System, and an enhanced cabin package featuring 10.25” Touchscreen Satellite Navigation, Telematics System with UVO Connect Services, and Ambient Lighting. Kia will be producing more e-Niro’s for the UK market in early-2020 in order to meet the high demand.
Priced at £33,795 including the Plug-In Car grant, the all-new Soul EV has been available to order since the summer, but first customer deliveries are now on schedule to begin early next year. It features improved specification and technology over the previous model and uses the same batteries and powertrain fitted to the e-Niro.
Both models are available to order at Kia’s 190-strong UK retailer network.
