Volkswagen have released a sketch image of the next generation Touareg model.
The company’s flagship SUV will make its world premiere next month in Beijing, marking China’s position as Volkswagen’s largest single market.
The all-new Touareg will feature cutting edge infotainment and connectivity features thanks to its large Innovision Cockpit. Driving dynamics are enhanced by air suspension, rear-wheel steering and roll stabilisation.
The third-generation Toureg is designed to cement Volkswagen’s place at the forefront of a global SUV C-segment which is one of fastest growing automotive markets.
Since launch in 2002, around a million Touareg’s have been sold worldwide, while the model won a hat-trick of Dakar Rally events from 2009.
The new Touareg’s world premiere will take place in Beijing on 23 March.
