The first half of this year has seen the Infiniti brand continue its meteoric rise in the UK new car market.
By the end of last month the brand had already sold more vehicles in the UK this year than during the whole of 2015, with the latest figures showing a 157% year-on-year growth. June was a particularly successful month for Infiniti, with a 400% leap in retail registrations compared to the same month last year.
Infiniti has been increasing its UK offerings as part of their growth strategy, with the QX30 model now on sale priced from £29,490. The Sunderland-built QX30 comes with a 2.2-litre diesel engine, all-wheel drive, and a DCT transmission.
Barry Beeston, Country Director for the UK, said “With registrations increasing month on month in both fleet and retail sales, the network is currently benefiting from the continuous introduction of new models. The recent introduction of the two UK built products of the Q30 and QX30 is making a serious impact. Adding the stunning Q60 coupe, due later in the autumn, means this momentum is set to continue.”
