This, ladies and gentlemen, is the world's most expensive motorhome. It's called the eleMMent Palazzo and it'll set you back the not-inconsiderable sum of £2million. Which is a lot.

So, what exactly do you get for your £2m? Well, quite a lot of gold actually -- the eleMMent is 40-ft long and it's covered from headlights to taillights in the stuff. It also comes with its own enormous master bedroom, a 40-inch television, an on-board bar, a fireplace and -- get this -- its own rooftop terrace.

The eleMMEnt is the work of an Austrian company by the name of Marchi Mobile, who describe the motorhome as "a new class within the premium segment of vehicles, targeted to enthuse lovers of the extraordinary and visionaries that are stylistically at ease," whatever that means.

You have to admit that the eleMMent is an extraordinary bit of kit. It's also almost implausibly ugly, not that you'll give two hoots about its outward appearance when you're sipping champagne on the roof terrace.
