You're royally minted, and you feel like splashing the cash on a supercar.
You're thinking a Ferrari, maybe a Lamborghini. Well stop, because there is another option.
The pictures above show the new Arrinera Hussarya, Poland's first supercar.
Now Poland might not be famous for its cars -- the hideous FSO Polonez is probably the country's most remembered creation -- but the Polish manufacture more cars every year than the Italians. And they know a thing or two about how to build a supercar.
The Hussarya (named after the 12th century Polish cavalry: the Hussars) is fitted with a 6.2-litre V8 engine which develops 650bhp. 0-62mph should take 3.2 seconds, 0-124mph 8.9 seconds, and flat out the Hussarya will top 211mph. Impressive.
More impressive than this, however, is the car's heat-sensitive camera. We know it's really a safety device but we still like the idea of pretending to be in a fighter jet at the wheel. Maybe if Saab had fitted one to the 9-5, the company might still be going. It's a thought...
Anyway, before you jump to the conclusion that the Hussarya is just a pipe-dream, we can tell you that Arrinera has actually built it. Yup, the car you see in the video below is actually real, and the background graphics have been digitally rendered around it.
The Hussarya is expected to go into production next year and there is no word yet on how much it will cost; however, if Polish supercars are anything like Polish plumbers, expect the Hussarya to be considerably cheaper than its British equivalents.
