Subaru’s flagship has been overhauled and will be available to order from 1st April.
The Subaru Outback was the world’s first ever crossover and has been available since 1995. April will see the new version of this popular model arrive with improvements and enhancements inside and out.
Subaru claim the Outback will be more practical than ever; it will have 4.5% more boot space than its predecessor with 559 litres and a new side sill footstep making it easier to reach the roof rails which come as standard.
Inside will see a new 7 inch touch screen and infotainment system which includes views from two colour cameras; the cameras assist in providing safety features such as Pre-Collision Braking and Lane Departure Warning.
Two engine options will be available to the UK market-a 2.0 litre turbo diesel and a naturally aspirated 2.5 litre petrol unit. Comfort and handling have seen improvement with the introduction of stiffer front struts and changes to spring and damper rates.
At the higher end of the range, a sunroof, keyless entry and push-button start, 18-inch alloy wheels, leather seats and a powered rear tailgate are included.
