An updated Suzuki Vitara range has gone on sale.

Styling upgrades to the Suzuki Vitara include a new front end design with redesigned grille, lower bumper, and rear lamps with a distinctive LED display.

Inside are seats with new trim featuring suede fabric on SZ5 models, upgraded upper instrument panel with soft touch material, and the instrument cluster now features a central colour information display.

All new Vitara models have seven airbags, alloy wheels, USB and Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control with speed limiter, auto air conditioning, and front and rear electric windows.

SZ-T trim level adds new design 17-inch silver painted alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, white stitching for seat trim fabric, Smartphone link audio, and navigation system. SZ5 trim gains LED Projector headlights, 17-inch polished alloy wheels, suede seat fabric, keyless entry with start button, Traffic Sign Recognition, blind spot monitor, Adaptive Cruise Control, Dual Sensor Brake Support and Panoramic sunroof.

A new dual-tone Solar Yellow Pearl and Ice Greyish Blue colour scheme is available, and in all there are 11 different paint colours on offer in the Vitara range.

A new 1.0-litre Boosterjet three cylinder petrol engine joins the Vitara range, having made its debut in the Suzuki Baleno, S-Cross and Swift models, while SZ-T and SZ5 grades have the option of a larger 1.4-litre Direct Injection turbocharged unit. Even with ALLGRIP 4-wheel-drive, the Vitara’s CO2 emissions with the 1.0-litre Boosterjet petrol engine and manual transmission is just 129g/km.

All SZ-T ALLGRIP and SZ5 models include collision-mitigating Dual Sensor Brake Support, and other driver aids on offer include Blind Spot Monitor, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Traffic Sign Recognition, and, on ALLGRIP models, Vehicle Sway Warning. The new Vitara displays a range of information through its 4.2 inch high-definition colour LCD display.

Prices start from £16,999 for the 1.0-litre Boosterjet SZ4 model.
