At the 81st Geneva International Motor Show Suzuki has unveiled a new concept car called the 'S-CONCEPT'.
At the 2011 Geneva International Motor Show, Suzuki unveiled a new concept car for the first time, built on the platform provided by the firm's popular Swift. The Suzuki Swift S-CONCEPT aims to be a 'more sporty and exciting' version of the Swift supermini.
Compared to a standard Swift the S-CONCEPT is 60mm wider and is lowered by 30mm. The exterior styling of the car has been extensively modified to make it look more sporty, with new front and rear bumpers, a big rear spoiler, 18 inch wheels, and a distinctive new design for the headlights and rear light clusters. The bespoke yellow, black and dark-grey metallic colour scheme for both the interior and the exterior - including a high lustre paint finish in Unique Lightning Pearl Yellow, which looks different depending on the viewing angle - is said to have been inspired by an athlete's running shoes.
On the interior of the car the steering wheel and instrument cluster have a new design, and the S-CONCEPT comes with Recaro Sport styled seats and carbon fibre in the centre console.
