Subaru are waving goodbye to the WRX STI with the release of a limited edition model to mark its passing.

Priced from £33,995 on-the-road, the Subaru WRX STI Final Edition is limited to just 150 examples, boasting a package of upgrades.

Driving performance is enhanced by an electronically-controlled Multi-Mode Driver’s Control Centre Differential for optimum cornering ability. Wheel is increased to 19-inches to accommodate new larger Brembo brakes with yellow painted calipers, and a redesigned front bumper not only gives a more purposeful look but also has a larger opening for enhanced cooling. The lower grille is blacked out with a geometric textured panel, while the hexagonal grille has a black surround. C-shaped headlights and Final Edition badge complete the look.

Inside are high gloss black inserts, contrasting red stitching, red seatbelts, heated front seats, larger 5.9-inch multi-function display, updated instrument panel design, DAB radio, and a reversing camera.

The WRX STI Final Edition is also fitted with bi-functional projector LED lights, with a single bulb enabling High Beam Assist to switch between high and low beam automatically. High Beam Assist operates via a single-lens camera, which is installed in the front windscreen and detects when an onward car is approaching. The lights are also steering responsive, turning to the left or right depending on the driver’s steering input and illuminates more of the corner.  Both technologies enhance visibility at night, allowing a clear view of the corners ahead.

The WRX STI Final Edition is available to order now from Subaru retailers.
