Subaru have updated the Outback crossover estate.
It has been redesigned to improve interior quality and safety features, while on the outside there is a new hexagonal front grille, bumper, door mirrors and headlight. A new front view camera has been added positioned below the Subaru grille badge, projecting a 180° image onto the touchscreen to help drivers in gauge potential hazards. An extra side view camera has also been mounted at the base of the passenger door mirror, displaying the area diagonally in front of the passenger side of the Outback to aide navigation through narrow spaces. A new switch positioned next to the X-Mode button allows the driver to move between display options on the centre touchscreen.
Another new addition is Lane Keep Assist, now included as standard on all Outback models. Lane Keep Assist offers gentle steering control if the vehicle is about to deviate from its lane at approximately 40mph or above. Steering Responsive Headlights have also been added.
Interior changes include new decorative gloss black panels and silver surrounds, a larger 8-inch multifunction colour touchscreen on SE Premium models, and on SE models an updated 6.5-inch multifunction colour touchscreen and fabric heated front seats.
Pricing for the Subaru Outback remains the same, starting from 29,995 for the SE model.
