Ssangyong have announced that a new flagship large SUV model will be revealed at the Seoul Motor Show.
Dubbed the Y400, the new model will gone on sale in Ssangyong’s domestic market this Spring before being rolled out international during the rest of 2017.
The new model borrows stylistically from the LIV-2 concept model displayed by Ssangyong at last September’s Paris Motor Show. In a world first the Quad-Frame body structure used 1.5ga giga-steel, and with advanced high strength steel making up almost two-thirds of the Y400’s body the result is lightweight but robust. The Y400 will be available with both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, and both petrol or new clean-burn diesel engines.
The covers will come off the new Ssanygong Y400 in Seoul next Thursday, 31 March.
