A new limited edition model has joined the Jeep Wrangler line up.

Called the Jeep Wrangler Night Eagle, the new model goes on sale this week priced from £39,810.

Just 66 examples of the Jeep Wrangler Night Eagle will be available in the UK. It will come with a choice of striking Xtreme Purple, Alpine White, or Solid Black paint finishes along with exclusive decals. It sits on 18-inch mid-gloss black wheels, body-colour grille, mid-gloss black colour accents, headlamp rings, and Jeep badge, body colour dual top, black fuel filler door, deep tint sunscreen glass and hard spare tyre cover.

Inside, the Night Eagle has black McKinley leather seats with sport mesh fabric inserts, leather-wrapped steering wheel with Diesel Gray stitching, black vinyl-wrapped console lid, and front door armrest, Piano Black grab handle and vent ring bezels, and all-weather slush mats. A nine-speaker Alpine Premium audio system with subwoofer, and Uconnect navigation system with CD/DVD/MP3, 6.5-inch touchscreen, AUX and USB ports complete a high-tech cabin environment.

Under the bonnet is a 200bhp, 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine and 5-speed automatic transmission, a Euro 6 compliant power plant which returns 31.4mpg combined, CO2 emissions of 235g/km, and 0-62mph in 10.7 seconds. The Command-Trac part-time, two-speed transfer case with a low-range gear ratio ensures it retains the Wrangler’s noted off-roading ability.

The Wrangler Night Eagle can be ordered at Jeep retailers.
