This week saw the one-millionth Skoda SUV roll of the manufacturer’s Czech production line.
Skoda entered the SUV market in 2009 with the introduction of the Yeti, which accounts for almost 70% of that total, but the milestone millionth model was an Emerald Green Metallic Skoda Karoq.
The Skoda Karoq, Kodiaq, and Yeti are now major players in the global SUV market, with 100,000 Skoda SUVs having found home here in the UK. To cope with the increasing demand for its products, Skoda now produces its SUV models in India, Russia, China, and Germany, and is expanding the Kvasiny plant in its native Czech Republic.
