Skoda has unveiled images of its new VisionC concept ahead of the car's unveiling at next week's Geneva Motor Show.
Based on the Volkswagen Group's new MQB platform, the VisionC, which was revealed in a teaser sketch earlier this month, is a five-door coupe concept which is designed to preview a model which will fill the gap between the Octavia and the Superb in Skoda's model line-up.
Although unmistakably a Skoda thanks to its front grille, the VisionC features a striking design which Skoda claims introduces the next step in the company's evolutionary design.
Inside, Skoda claims there is "plenty of room for four people and their luggage."
The VisionC is powered by a 108bhp turbocharged 1.4-litre four-cylinder direct injection engine which can be run on both petrol and compressed natural gas. Skoda claims that when run on natural gas, the car will be capable of returning 91g/km of CO2.
It remains unclear whether the VisionC will go into production.
