A new version of the Skoda Octavia vRS is now on UK sale priced from £27,595.
With 242 bhp available from its modified 2.0-litre, four-cylinder TSI petrol engine, the new model is the most powerful Octavia vRS to date. The new Skoda Octavia vRS 245 is available in both hatchback and estate form, and with a choice of six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG gearboxes.
Skoda’s sporting flagship can accelerate from 0-62mph in as little as 6.6 seconds, and the performance is enhanced further with the standard fitment of an electronically regulated VAQ limited-slip differential. This works with an electronically regulated multi-plate clutch located between the differential and the powered axle on the right-hand side, and can deliver 100% of the power to one front wheel when required.
The Skoda Octavia vRS 245 is distinguished by 19-inch ‘Xtreme’ gloss black alloy wheels, and gloss black front grille, door mirror housings and exhaust tailpipes. Inside the Octavia vRS 245 are heated, electrically-adjustable sports seats trimmed in Alcantara with gloss black trim panels. There is a colour multifunction trip computer located in the main instrument panel which includes a lap timer as standard. Other equipment includes Amundsen satellite navigation with eight-inch display and integrated Wi-Fi, full LED headlights with adaptive front light system and LED daytime running lights, LED interior light pack, and a Super sport three-spoke leather multi-function steering wheel with vRS logo and paddles for DSG-equipped models.
The Octavia vRS 245 is available to order now, with UK deliveries to commence next month.
