Priced from £30,085 on-the-road in hatchback form, the new Skoda Octavia vRS Challenge special edition is available to order now from UK retailers.
Powered by Skoda’s 2.0-litre TSI 245PS petrol, the Octavia vRS Challenge hatchback hits 62mph from a standing start in just 6.6 seconds, and comes with a choice of 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG transmission.
An electronically regulated VAQ limited slip differential diverts 100 per cent of the power between the two front wheels when required for optimal cornering performance, while dynamic chassis control optimises each individual shock absorber by reacting within milliseconds to changing driving conditions.
The Octavia vRS Challenge is distinguished from the rest of the line up by 19-inch Xtreme black alloy wheels, sports exhaust with black trim, black folding auto-dimming door mirrors, and black vRS badging. Inside it gains figure-hugging Alcantara vRS seats that are electronically adjustable and heated for the driver and front-seat passenger, colour trip computer with lap timer, and keyless entry and start. This is on top of the standard vRS features which include Amundsen satellite navigation with eight-inch touchscreen display and integrated Wi-Fi, full LED headlights with adaptive front light system and LED daytime running lights, LED interior light pack in 10 colours, and a three-spoke sports leather multi-function steering wheel with vRS logo.
The Octavia vRS Challenge is also available in estate form priced from £31,285 on-the-road.
