SEAT have announced plans to add a new flagship SUV model to their line up.
The new model, which will hit showrooms next year, will become the third SUV in the SEAT line up, and will sit just above the Ateca. The new SUV will be built in Wolfsburg, Germany, the home of SEAT’s parent Volkswagen. It will be available in both 5 and 7-seat versions, built on the MQB A2 platform already installed at Wolfsburg for existing Volkswagen Group products.
The announcement is part of an expansion programme for the SEAT brand, who have already announced a compact crossover which will join the range later this year, based on the existing Ibiza platform and to be produced at SEAT’s Martorell plant near Barcelona.
