Seat have announced their most powerful road car to date, the Leon CUPRA 300, will go on UK sale from March 2017.
The new model will be available in three-door SC, five-door, and ST estate body styles, with a 296bhp 2.0-litre TSI engine under the bonnet, 4Drive all-wheel-drive system, an DSG automatic gearbox. Dynamic Chassis Control and electronic self-locking differential help translate that power into driving performance, as does the CUPRA Drive Profile system which offers selectable Comfort, Sport, Individual, and CUPRA modes.
The Seat Leon CUPRA 300 range will also include Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Pedestrian Protection, Electric Parking Brake, Keyless Entry and Start, Integrated Media System Plus infotainment system with eight-inch screen, and a Connectivity Hub that comprises a smartphone wireless charger and a GSM antenna amplifier for areas with low signal coverage.
Full pricing and specification details will be made available closer to launch.
