SEAT is marking the 30th anniversary of the Ibiza with a new open-top concept, which will go on show at the Volkswagen's Group's Worthersee show next week.
The Ibiza Cupster concept car features a short, steeply-raked windscreen, wrap-around side windows and SEAT's corporate front end. There's also a large Cupra badge at the front end, suggesting that it will be powered by the same 1.4-litre TSI engine as the current Ibiza Cupra hatchback.
It's a strict two-seater too -- SEAT has ditched the rear seats in favour of a double buttress design with rollover hoops -- while at the back, there's a boot-mounted spoiler.
Unfortunately, it's highly unlikely that the Cupster concept will go into production as, like most of the cars we see at the Worthersee event, it's likely to be a one-off.
