Renault has revealed a teaser image of a new concept car, which is set to go on display at the Triennale Museum in Milan next month.

Designed with the help of Welsh industrial designer Ross Lovegrove, the new concept is thought to preview the next-generation Renault Twingo, and is the latest in Renault's life-cycle concept series which began with the DeZir supercar in 2010. This was followed by the R-Space MPV, the Frendzy and the Captur SUV.

Renault claims that the new concept draws heavily on the systems and energy transactions found in nature, saying, claiming that its intention is "to reveal nature's underlying blueprints and transfer them into a new design language," whatever that means.

The new concept will be unveiled on 8 April.
