The Kadjar is set to be a bigger brother to the Captur and to offer excellent economy and emissions.
The French firm have enjoyed considerable success since entering the crossover market which is a hotly contested business with a wide appeal. Renault will use the Kadjar to cement its place on the international stage and build on the sales of the Captur.
The Kadjar will represent a mix between an athletic exterior appearance and a refined interior. It will be available in either four-wheel or two-wheel drive options and will have a relatively small footprint at 4.45 metres by 1.84 metres.
A range of engine options will be available which will place the Kadjar at the front of its pack in terms of fuel consumption and low emissions. The interior will also impress the market with advanced connectivity including the R-Link 2 multimedia system and increased provision of driving aids.
Renault will display the Kadjar for the first time in March at the International Geneva Motor Show and will begin to sell it in the summer. It will be available in Europe and Africa before being adapted to right hand drive for the UK market this autumn.
