Renault has previewed the next-generation Espace MPV at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but has revealed that the new model will not be coming to the UK.
The French manufacturer claims that the Initiale Paris combines the "vitality of a saloon," "the character of an SUV" and "the light and space of an MPV." Renault also claims that the concept's styling is "inspired by the worlds of architecture and aeronautics."
The Initiale Paris concept gives a strong indication of how the next Espace will look and is finished in an 'Amethyst' colour which varies between black and violet depending on the lighting. The concept also gets full-LED lights and chrome detailing.
On the inside, the Initiale gets matte-effect walnut trim and a centre console which seems to float above the cabin floor. Renault promises "private jet-style comfort" for the Initiale's interior.
Renault has not sold the Espace in the UK since February 2012 when it was dropped from the range due to flagging sales.
