Renault’s premium large SUV, the Koleos, has been treated to a comprehensive overhaul.
New engines, fresh styling, and technology upgrades all feature in the updated Koleos, which will hit UK roads in the autumn.
The updated Koleos boasts a brace of new diesel engines with lower emissions than the power plants they have replaced. Available in front-wheel drive models, the new 1.8-litre Blue dCi 150 engine emits just 143g/km of CO2, while the larger 2.0-litre Blue dCi 190 emits 150g/km of CO2. Both come with X-Tronic continuously variable transmission as standard, while the Blue dCi 190 also comes with Renault’s intelligent All Mode 4x4-i all-wheel drive.
Styling upgrades see the inclusion of Pure Vision LED headlamps across the range, along with a new grille, new chrome trim, and larger skid plates front and rear, larger high-level brake light, and new two-tone alloy wheels. A new colour option, Vintage Red metallic, joins the list of paint finishes.
The cabin gains improved soft touch materials, new satin trim inserts, and two-stage reclining rear seat backs.
A pedestrian detection function has been added to the emergency Active Emergency Braking System, while the R-LINK 2 touch screen infotainment system now has full-screen Apple CarPlay.
The updated Koleos is available in Iconic and GT-Line trim levels, with UK prices to be revealed next month.
