Latest figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders showed MG sales were up 30% in March compared to the same month in 2016, while with 1,065 vehicles registered since the turn of the year it has been the best ever opening quarter for MG.
The company have reaped the benefits of a programme of special offers that have attracted buyers, as well as a rapid expansion of their UK dealer network.
MG Motor UK’s Sales and Marketing boss Matthew Cheyne said: “Although excellent news for the MG brand, such impressive registration figures wouldn’t have been possible without a highly committed and successful national dealer network. As our dealer network grows further, we will continue to expand as a company. This, combined with an excellent range, and exciting new models in the pipeline, will see MG continue to drive forward in the UK marketplace.”
