Porsche's new Macan, the company's first ever compact SUV, has made its UK debut in a window display at the world famous Harrods department store in Knightsbridge, London.
The Macan, which received its global unveiling at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November, will occupy the Harrods window until 5 February, before arriving at Porsche dealerships in April.
Priced from between £43,300 and £59,300, the Macan is available to order now and is available in three versions, each of which feature Porsche's PTM (Porsche Traction Management) all-wheel drive system and the company's PDK double-clutch transmission.
Two petrol engines are on offer: a 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo with 340bhp in the Macan S and a twin-turbo 3.6-litre V6 with 400bhp in the Macan Turbo. 0-62mph takes 5.2 seconds and 4.8 seconds, respectively, with fuel consumption rated at 32.5mpg for the S and 31.7mpg for the Turbo.
The Macan S diesel, meanwhile, will return 46.3mpg from its 258bhp 3.0-litre V6 diesel.
Also on show in the Harrods window is the new Porsche 911 Turbo S and the 887bhp 918 Spyder hypercar.
