Porsche is set display a variety of new and historic models at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Perhaps the most interesting car that Porsche will display is Semper Vivus, a 1900 model designed by Porsche founder Ferdinand Porsche. The Semper Vivus (literally, 'always alive') was the world's first hybrid car, with a petrol engine mated to electric motors in the wheel hubs.

Porsche is also celebrating the anniversary of its UK debut. It is sixty years since the first right-hand-drive 356s made their UK debut at the Earl's Court Motor Show. In commemoration of its diamond jubilee, Porsche will be displaying a number of Porsche road cars from the past including a 911 from the early sixties and a 928 GT from the 1980s.

Porsche fans will also catch their first glimpse of the Panamera Turbo S and the 911 GT3 RS, both of which are set to make their UK debut.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed begins on 30th June and ends on 3rd July.
