The Polestar 2 has entered production in China in readiness for the start of deliveries to Europe this summer.
The all-electric performance hatchback was unveiled in February last year, and is available to reserve with a refundable deposit while order books are gradually opened across ten European, Asian, and North American markets.
Built at the Volvo Cars plant in Luqiao, the Polestar 2 has a 300kW electric motor producing the equivalent of 408bhp, an all-wheel drive system, and a 78kWh battery pack providing a range of just over 290 miles. Its cutting-edge infotainment system is powered by Android, featuring Google Maps, Google Assistant and the Google Play Store.
