Launch details for the hotly-anticipated Polestar 2 have now been confirmed.
The electric performance fastback will be priced from £49,900 on-the-road when it goes on UK sale early next year, although reservations for a place in the queue can already made by visiting Polestar.com and lodging a fully-refundable model. Polestar’s fully-digital retail policy means cars can only be purchased online and directly from the manufacturer, although a worldwide chain of ‘Polestar Spaces’ will be opened in the coming months where specialists will be on hand to assist customers with product info and test drives.
Included in the purchase price is a 3-year routine servicing and maintenance plan, including pick-up and delivery.
The all-wheel drive Polestar 2 boasts a 300 kW powertrain and 78 kWh battery pack, as well as Pilot Assist driver assistance package, panoramic roof, pixel headlights, Harmon Kardon sound system, Phone-as-key system, and Android Automotive OS-powered infotainment featuring Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play Store.
