The Mitsubishi Outlander range, previously available in plug-in hybrid and diesel only, now has a petrol-powered option.
Priced from £27,680 on-the-road, the new option features a 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with an advanced CVT automatic transmission and electronically-controlled 4-wheel-drive as standard. This comes with Active Stability Control and three Drive Modes – economical 4WD ECO mode, everyday 4WD AUTO mode for normal driving conditions, and rough terrain 4WD LOCK mode for low-grip conditions.
The versatile seven-seat layout includes rear seats that can be individually folded into the boot floor, and second row seats with a tilting backrest and sliding function for adjustable rear passenger leg room. With all five rear seats folded the Outlander has up to 1,608 litres of boot space.
The Mitsubishi Outlander range has been treated to some slight cosmetic surgery for the new model year, with a new honeycomb mesh front grille, new front lower extension, new headlamp design, new rear bumper design, and new two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels. Beneath the skin, the Outlander now also has reduced engine noise, more supportive front seats, one-touch electric windows on all four windows, a heated windscreen, and Mitsubishi’s new Smartphone Link Display Audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, DAB, and Bluetooth connectivity. Improved structural rigidity and enhancements to the front strut and rear shock absorbers result in a smoother ride.
The new Mitsubishi Outlander Petrol is available to order now from Mitsubishi retailers.
