Nissan have announced a new special edition version of their popular LEAF electric vehicle.
Called the LEAF Black Edition, the new model is based on the existing Acenta trim level, with additions including 16-inch black alloy wheels, LED headlamps, illuminated entry guards, privacy glass, black door mirror caps, black rear roof spoiler, and blue-stitched mats. The Black Edition also comes with the latest NissanConnect EV telematics system with Around View Monitor technology as standard.
The Nissan LEAF Black Edition will be produced in limited numbers between March and August next year. The first 1,000 European customers will also benefit from a free Wi-Fi hotspot capable of powering up to eight devices.
Almost 240,000 Nissan LEAFs have been sold since the model was launched six years ago, making it the world’s favourite electric vehicle thanks to its 30kWh motor with 155 mile range.
