Nissan have made a series of upgrades to the Qashqai, including a more powerful engine.

The 1.5-litre diesel engine now produces 113bhp and also features a new overboost function. When fitted with 16 or 17-inch wheels fuel economy is 74.3mpg while CO2 emissions are 100g/km.

Selective Catalytic Reduction technology with AdBlue has also been added to the Qashqai to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions, enabling the engine to meet the latest Euro 6d-Temp emissions standards.  In all, over 90% of the engine’s components have been modified.

Launched in 2007, the Qashqai has been Nissan’s biggest-selling model in the European market with around 2.3 million sold to date. The latest Qashqai range is available to order now at Nissan retailers.
