Nissan has announced that its new Qashqai will cost from £17,595 when it goes on sale in the UK in January.
The new Qashqai, which was revealed in full last week, is the second-generation version of Nissan's ground-breaking crossover. Nissan claims that despite the new car's improved interior quality and equipment levels, the new Qashqai costs virtually the same as its predecessor.
There will be four trim levels available on the new Qashqai: Visia, Acenta, Acenta Premium and Tekna. Entry-level Visia models get automatic air-conditioning, Hill Start Assist, a five-inch colour infotainment screen, cruise control with speed limiter and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Priced from £19,145, Acenta models dual-zone air-conditioning, a leather steering wheel and gear knob, 17-inch alloys, front fog lights and automatic lights and wipers. Both Visia and Acenta models are also available with a Smart Vision Pack, costing £450, which adds Front Collision Avoidance, Driver Attention Support and Traffic Sign Recognition.
Acenta Premium models start from £20,995 and include the NissanConnect infotainment system with DAB radio, a rear view camera, push-button start, parking sensors and a panoramic glass roof.
Range-topping Tekna models, which start from £23,145, get 19-inch alloys, roof rails, part-leather seats, a glass roof and Bi-LED headlamps.
