MG enjoyed record sales in March according to the latest figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

March saw over 1,100 MG’s sold, a staggering 49% increase on the same month last year.  It means the month was MG’s best monthly sales performance since its relaunch a decade ago. With sales up by 67% since the start of the year, MG lays claim to the title of UK’s fastest-growing car brand.

MG attribute their success, at least in part, to a new warranty programme which sees all its new products come with at least five-year’s cover, while the all-new MG ZS Compact-SUV comes with a 7-year/80,000 miles warranty.

The manufacturer’s sales & marketing chief, Daniel Gregorious, said: “With competitive pricing, strong spec, good finance offers and long warranties, MG offers new car buyers a compelling value-for-money package.”
