Volvo’s Twin Engine range has expanded to include a new V60 variant, which the manufacturer hopes will appeal to business and company car buyers.
The V60 D5 Twin Engine qualifies for a £2,500 Government plug-in car grant, 100% first year writing down allowance, and a Benefit-in-Kind rate of just 7%. It’s environmentally efficient too, with CO2 emissions of just 48g/km.
The popularity of other Twin Engine models with the business community has encouraged Volvo to expand the range. For example, fleet orders account for 57% of all UK sales of the XC90 T8 Twin Engine model, which has already exceeded its projected sales expectation by 10% this year.
“The V60 blends all the essential work- and home-life features, including power and efficiency, class-leading safety systems and connective technology, striking the perfect balance for company car users,” said Selwyn Cooper, head of business sales for Volvo Car UK. “The addition of the V60 D5 Twin Engine will only increase the V60’s appeal for business users, thanks to its impressive CO2 and tax figures, and build on our global electrification strategy of introducing other plug-in hybrid vehicles to our range.”
