An all-new Volkswagen Polo will make its world debut later this week.
Berlin will be the setting for the grand unveiling of the sixth generation Volkswagen Polo, which will go on sale later this year.
The latest generation Polo will have a tough act to follow, with its predecessor having been World Car of the Year, but Volkswagen promise the new model will bring charismatic design, increased interior space and numerous technological advances.
Volkswagen design chief Klaus Bischoff promised “a Polo with an expressive design which makes the compact sportier, cleaner and unique within the brand range. This is a car that fits in perfectly with our times – both visually and technologically."
Over 14 million Polos have been sold worldwide since Volkswagen first introduced the model way back in 1975, and the manufacturer hopes the model to be revealed on Friday will continue that success story.
