Ford has announced the addition of an ST-Line version to Kuga SUV, to go on sale later this year priced from £25,845.

With sporty styling, unique alloy wheels, tuned suspension and steering, and a choice of EcoBoost petrol and TDCi diesel engines, the Ford Kuga ST-Line forms part of a revised Kuga range. Styling enhancements include a high-gloss Ebony Black grille and rear skid plate, honeycomb lower grille design, sports mesh finish on the fog lamp bezels, body colour front skid plate, side-skirts, mirror caps, door handles, door cladding, rear roof spoiler and wheel arches, black roof rails, tinted front and rear lights, privacy glass, black beltline beneath the windows and ST-Line exterior badging. There is a choice of unique new 18in high-gloss black alloys wheels with a bright machined surface or 19in alloy wheels in Ebony Black, while the sport seats come in partial leather with contrasting stitching, a leather gear lever gaiter, and leather steering wheel. Chassis enhancements include thicker anti-roll bars, a 10mm lower ride height for reduced body roll and sharper responses, stiffer suspension bushes, fine-tuned spring and damper rates, and an Electronic Power Assisted Steering system with revised calibration.

The full range of Kuga engines are to be made available for the ST-Line version. The 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engine is predicted to offer 64.2mpg and deliver up to 115g/km CO2, making it the most economical choice. The new model will mean there are now ST-Line versions of the Fiesta, Focus, Mondeo, and Kuga.

The upscale Ford Kuga Vignale will also join the range latest this year, boasting pearlescent-metallic Vignale Milano Grigio paintwork and Cashmere leather interior trim.

The Kuga range is priced from £20,845, with the Kuga ST-Line starting at £25,845. Orders are now being taken, with deliveries to commence by the end of this year.
